A wild imagination and always having something to say is the recipe for finding oneself in trouble quite often, especially as a young girl in the middle of nowhere. It only made sense, then, to find refuge in the local theater. Countless piano lessons and a video camera later, and my obsession with movies and everything that went into them sparked and raged into the roaring fire it is today. From anything Steven Spielberg to Monty Python, I Love Lucy to Xena: Warrior Princess, my childhood was filled with a wide array of movies and television shows to consume me. I knew I wanted to work in the film industry in any capacity, and from my love and obsession with both music and movies, it made sense for me to follow my passion and become a film composer.

In the past 20 years, I've found myself at the theater every week – sometimes every day if my wallet can manage it - and listening to the hundreds of soundtracks I've managed to compile over that time. I went on from small town, Texas, to study music education and composing at Oklahoma State University. It was here where I was able to have my start scoring for short films and video games through various clubs and organizations, as well as study sound engineering and music and instruments from all over the world.

Since then, I’ve built my repertoire composing for independent projects ranging from short film to full feature of all genres. In the past two years, I’ve managed to reach into the writer’s realm, writing stage plays, screenplays, and novels.

I currently reside in Austin TX, and am able to travel for projects and clients on an as needed basis, creating scores for mediums including books, film, and TV.
